Valve Automation Division
In 1990, CIB Corporation established a new division focused on an evolving new market, Valve Automation. This new department is responsible of presenting all the pneumatic and electrical equipment available, plus assisting and analyzing our client’s needs, to offer them a precise solution. In the Puerto Nuevo branch is located the Valve Automation Center, a workshop dedicated exclusively to solve our client’s automation problems quickly and professionally.
On the pneumatic area, CIB offers a big selection of actuators and controls. Bettis Actuators, which includes Rack & Pinion design and Scotch-Yoke design actuators in both formats, Double Acting and Spring Return, is a respected authority in this area, with torques ranging from 20 pound-inches to over six million pound-inches. Available equipment for pneumatic applications include NAMUR MOUNT Solenoid valves, StoneL Valve Communications and Controls, this last with a vast selection of limit switches and valve positioning devices, all available in a broad array of product platforms for your general purpose areas as well as your most restrictive hazardous areas, and from benign environments to highly corrosive and/or submersible applications.
On the Electrical Automation area, CIB offers Bernard actuators and controls, which includes actuators for quarter-turn and multi-turn applications, for both On-Off and Modulating operation requirements. Bernard Controls also offers the only true fail-safe electric actuator in the market today. In there believe that a valve/actuator package should give there clients long years of quality and uninterrupted service, CIB Corporation only mounts these packages using Stainless Steel mounting brackets, couplings, bolts and nuts.
